W211
The W211 is one of our Stout yeasts, excellently suited for the production of malt-contoured Ales, but especially for Stout and Porter. This yeast strain is characterized by its soft malty aroma with a hint of honey.
- complex ester profile
- slightly increased amount of higher alcohols
- weaker to normal settling behaviour
- good diacetyl reduction
- low to normal AV° (approx. 72-78%)
Recommended fermentation temperature: 21°C (21-23°C)
Traces of red cabbage and black currants may appear in the young beer.
